Looks like what's happening is the detector list is calling getDetectorList() which is eventually calling getDetectors(), where we already have logic to handle suppressing any index not found exception, and returning an empty detector list (see here). The reason for this logic is to suppress the AD detectors system index, since it won't exist on a new cluster / before any detectors are created.

To fix this issue, there can be an additional check as to which index is missing:

  1. if it's the detectors system index, we can handle like we currently do (return empty detector list)
  2. if it's the state system index, then that means detectors have been created, but no tasks (no RT or historical jobs ran). In that case, return whatever detectors have been found, which should already have default values for missing tasks (set as 'Stopped' for RT, with no existing historical job).
