We've done some development on QEMU with TrustZone patches. The emulated system was a Versatile Express like system configured with one Cortex A15. Some effort will be needed to port to Cortex A9x4, what's in core/arch/arm32/plat-vexpress is a good starting point.

I notice there is a script called setup_qemu_optee.sh. It's unfortunate I can't get linaro account so that can't fetch QEMU code. Is it meaning they are private and protected from public viewing?

Try to replace the url to the QEMU git with: http://git.linaro.org/git-ro/people/greg.bellows/qemu.git
