Can you double check your Okta domain, and token. What is your Okta domain?
Either way we should catch this error and include it on the Exception.

my bad, gradle wasn't able to access jdk cacerts. I had to trace IDE logs to find it, sorry!

What is your Okta domain
It was wrong domain. I've started to use: https://dev-268038.okta.com
and now it works.
The old one was https://dev-268038.okta.com/oauth2/default I have forgotten to drop path after domain.
Caught exception with original response code and body are highly appreciated. Thanks for spending a time to look into it.

Thanks for the clarification! We should be able to add a check for that and provide a better exception message for related cases.
Iām guessing you are no the only one who has seen this.
