Ciao David,
"balance" è quando un'imposta figlia viene calcolata sul residuo
dell'imposta madre meno le altre imposte figlie. Questo perchè la somma
totale sia corretta anche nei decimali.

We are in the process of making a colombbian localization, and when
analyzing examples we saw, that in the l10n_it there is the tax type
"balance" used on some child taxes. i do not understand this concept, but
it might be useful to some of our problems...

tax amount: 100
child tax1 (e.g. 60%): 60
child tax 2 (e.g. 40%): 100-60 = 40 (balance)

La tassa figlia 2 è sempre corretta (even in decimals)
Prego cinquecento :)
