backface-visibility:hidden; on <div class="your-clock"></div> will fix this.
Its because of the css 3d transforms.
For all browsers:
-webkit-backface-visibility: hidden;
-moz-backface-visibility: hidden;
-ms-backface-visibility: hidden;
backface-visibility: hidden;from flipclock.

Just had this issue pop up. For me, it ended up being -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;.
In case anyone else isn't using a CSS framework that automatically includes that, hopefully this will save you some headache.
