@nuest a first simple implementation has been pushed (see here: ba1a6d4). This solution assumes that the author's workspace will always be in a folder named data.

It's not only about hiding bagit files, but also o2r metadata and configuration stuff. I strongly recommend that we maintain a list (of regexes?) in the config file where we can configure multiple patterns to be hidden.

Right now, only the folder's content is shown. But this is just a temporary solution. We were thinking about highlighting the workspace instead of hiding bagit files etc. This might be more comfortable and less confusing for the user.
