I think this also mean that nuitka can include the .so / .dll of gmsh library without having to go with the time consuming python-to-c-then-compile cycle.

i'm looking into it, once we have a fix we'll let you know. manually including the dll for the moment is alright, however, ideally nuitka should include it automatically, specially since manuallly inserting DLLs the way you did for standalone isn't possible for --onefile mode.
