Under Settings > WebUI, try disabling CSRF Protection. This worked for me using docker

Are you sure you're in the most recent version of iQbit?
Did you update qbittorrent recently? To what version?

Downloaded directly from the github, also im on qBittorrent v4.4.5

Uhm downloaded recently? There was an issue with logging in when they updated to 4.4.4 or 4.4.5 but it was fixed since then

I think it's a problem specific to how I'm proxying calls out of docker into qbittorrent actually

Try cp index.html login.html from the iQbit/release/public directory assuming you are on linux. The server still looks for login.hml in the iQbit/release/public directory.
(Restart qbittorrent afterwards)
This fixed the issue for me.
