@betolink you can open an issue with the title:

@conda-forge-admin, please add user @betolink

and it'll open a PR that'll skip CI to add you to the recipe:

Hi @scottyhq, yeah I can definitely do that. I'm also working on a couple API changes that I plan to integrate it today/tomorrow. I'll @ you here when this gets done.

Hi @scottyhq, I relaxed the dependencies and released v.0.2.0 but the conda-forge recipe is not up to date. You can grab v0.2.0 from pip directly for now.

Awesome! Thanks @betolink ... looks like @rsignell-usgs is the current sole gatekeeper for the conda-forge feedstock? Would you be willing to be listed as a maintainer there too? conda-forge/earthdata-feedstock#3

We have a strong preference for conda-forge in order to solve the complete environment :) but will make due with pip if need be! For example, pip install earthdata==0.2 in an existing environment can get complicated:

ERROR: pip's dependency resolver does not currently take into account all the packages that are installed. This behaviour is the source of the following dependency conflicts.
sat-stac 0.4.1 requires python-dateutil~=2.7.5, but you have python-dateutil 2.8.2 which is incompatible.
geemap 0.11.8 requires python-box~=5.4, but you have python-box 6.0.0 which is incompatible.
awscli 1.22.24 requires PyYAML<5.5,>=3.10, but you have pyyaml 6.0 which is incompatible.

@scottyhq It'd be cool to join as a maintainer, should I open a ticket in the repo or is it somehow an automated process?

I was able to install your environment file with earthdata as a pip dependency but since you're using conda-lock that's a bit tricky I guess. I don't get where the issue is coming from, earthdata has no sat-stac dependency etc. I'll try to update the conda forge recipe if I become a maintainer.
