Defining a python function in clips with a different name about clipspy HOT 4 CLOSED

Ah nevermind, it worked by setting __name__. Made a stupid mistake. Yet, one could encapsulate this in

        """Define the Python function within the CLIPS environment.

        The Python function will be accessible within CLIPS via its name
        as if it was defined via the `deffunction` construct.

        """
        ENVIRONMENT_DATA[self._env].user_functions[function.__name__] = function

        self.build(DEFFUNCTION.format(function.__name__))

Right now, clipspy will use the same name of the Python function.

env.define_function(my_python_function)

env.eval('(my_python_function "a_string" a_symbol 0 1.0)')

Do you have a valid use case for renaming the function in CLIPS?

Yes, I do. I am calling a "logger" function in my rules. But this logger function varies, e.g. "csv_logger", "print_logger", ...
I am setting different kinds of loggers but do not want to touch my rules.
