I've confirmed this using the application:
"capital_TEST"
The issue here is that web-browsers don't respect case for URLs. They will normalize the case for a url string and make it all lowercase.
You can see this happening if you type: http://capital_TEST.nodejitsu.com in your browser versus doing curl http://capital_TEST.nodejitsu.com
I believe the solution here is to update our Journey routes to not discriminate between upper and lowercase.

Okay, I spoke with @cloudhead. Here is the related issue in Journey: cloudhead/journey#12

Pull request has landed to fix this. Once @cloudhead can merge we'll update the version on our production stack and hopefully that will resolve the issue.

The change has been merged, but there isn't a new version bumped to npm yet. Pinging @cloudhead today to see if we can get that version bumped, if not we'll have to vendor it.
