I'm going to rewrite the package to better allow for seeking, but I won't add support for selecting non-sentences with the sentence text object. For the second example, you'd be better off using a line text object. Could you describe in more detail how your desired text object would act? It might be possible to do using composite text objects (see targets.el).

Ok. You convinced me to use line text objects on the second example. Also: I wanted to try to sway your opinion on not selecting non-sentences but I figured that it will probably enforce better behavior on my part when I don't get to use them when there actually are no sentences.
If the need arises in a few weeks, I might reconsider using targets.el. In the meantime, thanks for the this plugin. It allows me to select the first sentence Hasta la vista.
without also selecting THE TERMINATOR
which was a real pain.
