Agreed and some of that is possible, if you have:

  • added Plans, Suits, or Test Cases then you can just re-run the migrator.

  • Added Work Items then you can re-run and it will migrate those left.

What I would like to be able to have is to Update already existing Work Items if they have changed since the last time they were migrated. This is however more complicated and can result in way more edge cases. Its on the backlog...

updates on some migrated work items

I can see that the issue has tag "help wanted", so maybe anybody agreed to contribute in this functionality, doesn't anybody?

Is the "WorkItemUpdateConfig" meant for this? I haven't found much documentation about this yet.

No, WorkItemUpdate is used for in place editing of a single TFS or Azure DevOps instance.
