API edit method edit_zone doesnt return nt_zone_id about nictool HOT 3 CLOSED

You have to pass in the nt_zone_id with the request. Which means you already have it. Why would you need the call to return it?

I dont really need it, but i was getting the results passed back then using that as a double check to ensure it had been inserted correctly and that i had the right ID. I've written my module as an add/edit module, so one set gets the return and uses that to link this record back to the other system i'm integrating.

I am just using the value i have now as you said, just raising an inconsistency i had noticed that the edit_zone_record does return the zone_record_id.

It's not a big deal, just figured i would lodge something to mention it.
