I have not really looked into how the settings API of plugins work, but a feature like this is definitely somewhere on the roadmap. Unfortunately I am pretty busy with other stuff in life right now, so I am not able to put much time and effort into the development of this plugin, so it may take a while.

Just as a note:

This could be implemented similar to how Spring Application Contexts work in the Spring Plugin. This would also maybe enable other stuff like working at multiple projects at the same time.

@DaZOr93 thanks for the reminder, but I am currently very busy writing my master thesis, so don't expect anything until February next year when I'm done 😅

I am open to contributions though, and now that the settings infrastructure exists, this should be quite straightforward to implement.
