@DylanWelzel for the repository-level metadata completeness score calculations, can you add some additional scores? Do not remove the other scores as the NIAID team is interested in using them for analysis, but they do not want those scores displayed by the UI. Instead, the repository-level scores to be displayed by the UI are:

  • A percentage of the number of fundamental metadata fields that are present relative to the total number of fundamental fields
    • If a fundamental field was successfully mapped to a field in the repository, it should be included in the calculation for the binary_required_score, regardless of how well that field is actually covered in that repository.
    • If a fundamental field has no equivalent in the repository field list, but we augment the field; our augmentation does NOT count towards the binary_required_score, but instead counts towards a binary_required_augmented
    • If a fundamental field is successfully mapped to a field int he repository, and we also augment it for the repository, it will count towards the binary_required_score and the binary_required_augmented
  • A percentage of the number of recommended metadata fields that are present relative to the total number of recommended fields
    • If a recommended field was successfully mapped to a field in the repository, it should be included in the calculation for the binary_recommended_score, regardless of how well that field is actually covered in that repository.
    • If a recommended field has no equivalent in the repository field list, but we augment the field; our augmentation does NOT count towards the binary_recommended_score, and instead counts towards a binary_recommended_augmented
    • If a fundamental field is successfully mapped to a field in the repository, and we also augment it, it will count towards the binary_recommended_score and the binary_recommended_augmented
