Hey Will - what are you trying to do with it - I don't seem to be having any trouble using it.

So the problem is in trying to reposition the object with the style tag. when I try style="position:absolute;top:40%;left:20%" or any other location it doesn't get placed there, it gets place at the top left corner every time.

Will, sorry it has taken me so long to address this issue. Yes, what you are describing was a bug in the select widget for a long time. I wasn't sure how to fix it, but I have now in the latest version (1.0.5). Thanks for bringing this to my attention! -B
