Raise DEVOPS-6313 for tracking this request.

@jaiw23 Would you please clarify your request? After sync up with our dev team, here is the comments:
The firewall_tag is a parameter in the create connector flow
firewall_tags - (Optional, non-modifiable) Indicates whether to add firewall_tags to the connector VM (HTTP and HTTP). The default is "true". If true, "firewall-tag-bvsu", "http-server", "https-server" are set as tags, and they can't be managed using tag options.

In CVO creation, the user either selects an existing firewall or generates a new one. In both cases, the firewall’s tag is attached automatically to the CVO VM (or VMs if it’s an HA) during the deployment if such tag exists on the firewall.
If a firewall tag doesn’t exist on the firewall, the firewall must have a service account attached to it and it should be the same service account as in the create CVO request. It’s only relevant when using an existing firewall. This is the only scenario when there’s no firewall tag attached to the VM.

If I understand correctly, your requirement is to add a firewall tag also to the last case I mentioned?

@chuyich The requirement is simple. We need the option to provide "network tags" for CVO VM (single node and HA) during CVO deployment. Please refer attached screenshot for reference. Network tags help simplify the application of VPC firewall rules and routing.

This is a screenshot from the GCP console for a CVO VM. As you can see the network tag is blank because there is no way to provide value for this option in terraform module.

The official doc explains more about the use of network tags for VM

@jaiw23 Can we get the information about the firewall that you use in the creating request (if it has tags, service account attached)? We would like to know your setup to understand the scenario. Thanks.

Close this since there is no update from the user for one month. Please raise a new one if it's needed.
