skip to offset will be used in sql distinct to check for the uniqueness of records. this greatly affects the time of the request. At the same time, if the tables are designed in such a way that there are unique records, then there is no need for distinct.

Sure, been thinking about offering a "more option" strategy like

const pagination = paginate<Pagination<Entity, MyCustomPaginationMetadata>>({
   repository,
   metaTransform: (meta: PaginationMetadata): MyCustomMetadata => ({...meta}),
   conditions: {
     where: {
       name: "test",
     },
   },
   methodOfSeparation: 'skip', // 'limit' | 'skip',
});

and other options etc
