I think this would be addressed if #117 is merged.
The "workaround" (then legit) code would be like:
this.samlStrategy.getPassportInstance().logout(req, function (err, req) {
if (!err) {
res.send('<h1>Logout Failure!!</h1>');
}
});
from passport.
I actually have a minimal repo for this one
https://github.com/ricardosaracino/nestjs-sp/blob/master/src/auth/auth.controller.ts
@Get('logout')
@UseGuards(SessionGuard)
@ApiOperation({title: 'Initiates the SAML logout flow'})
public logout(@Req() req, @Res() res) {
(this.samlStrategy as any).logout(req, (err, request) => {
if (!err) {
res.redirect(request);
}
});
}
from passport.
#117 has been merged and published as 6.2.0
from passport.
I'm not sure how #117 fixes this issue. This issue is about using methods on the Strategy instance, not about using a global/local Passport instance
from passport.
