@Joshua-Yu I'm using ojdbc6 with 11 and 10 server versions without any issues. The ojdbc driver doesn't contain the dependencies for the DMSConsole at all.
Probably the Oracle server instance you're trying to connect to is using the Dynamic Monitoring System or in some way it's required for the connection.
What I can suggest is to add also the dms.jar when defining the connection in the ETL tool. You should be able to add as many jar files as you need.
In Oracle 11g the file should be here: $ORACLE_HOME/oc4j/lib/dms.jar
