Hi Welcome to my github!
I started my career in the Audiovisual field as a Lighting operator, an area that I loved and where I learned to automate intelligent lights such as moving heads.
When the pandemic hit, most events where I worked were cancelled, which meant that my income as an Audiovisual freelancer suffered. This is when I saw a 42 Lisboa advertisement in the street, and I decided that this is the path I wanted to follow! Logic is very important for lighting operators, and this translates directly to programming.
My first contact with programming(C language) was at 17 years old, when I started buying Arduino modules and tried to assemble them. I ended up burning some of them, but this developed my curiosity for programming. From there I used many online resources to learn and develop real life projects such as a controller for lights, motors and small displays, using bluetooth, I.R. remotes, radio, etc. I became very interested in how programming could have real effects on daily life and how it could solve and automate many problems we face.
Before I started learning at 42 Lisboa I did not imagine that I could turn this interest into an IT career. Now, with the peer2peer learning model and all the challenges I faced and overcame in the 42 projects, I feel more confident and prepared to go through all the different challenges that IT professionals face.
