Error when trying to build for Windows on Linux about nativefier HOT 2 CLOSED

Hi AgentSmith, I had a similar issue, but I was able to install Wine after activating 32-bit mode.
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
Then Wine installed successfully.
sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable
REF: [https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu]

I am so close to it completing!!
Now my error is: "stderr: 'Unable to load file: "/mnt/c/Users/aklie/Repos-GIT/electron-nativefier/ism_localhost/dist/ISM_Local_Development-win32-x64/ISM_Local_Development.exe"\r\n',
code: 1"

• It creates the directory, the resources, and even the "exe" file but then stops with above error.
  A real bummer!
  

UPDATE: Never mind, finally got it to finish building. I ran nativefier domainName all by itself. Now that I can get it working. I will add back in each custom setting one by one.

I was able to fix this issue by installing wine from the official repository (https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu). So it seems to be an issue with the wine version that comes with Ubuntu 23.04.
