Thank you for reporting this, I will pass this improvement on to our Magento2 plugin developer.
It's a valid improvement to use the decent logging system as a replacement for the Zend Logger.

Maybe we could also skip the creation of the file at all.
Something like this:
$writer = ($this->getMainConfigData('msp_debug')) ? new \Zend\Log\Writer\Stream(BP . '/var/log/multisafepay.log') : new \Zend\Log\Writer\Null();

Thank you for the report.

Unfortunately, this plugin is deprecated and we are not providing support for it anymore.
Please upgrade to our New Magento 2 plugin..

This issue has not occurred in the new plugin and the new plugin also has tons of other improvements.
I am closing this issue for now. If you have any more comments or questions, feel free to create a new issue in the new plugin repo.
