I support this suggestion.
I use mp3splt as a call from a VBA programm. When trying
some different parameters, you have to delete again and
again the created split files.
Also, a 'human rehearsal' could be helpful to verify the
splitpoints.
Any mods for this feature possible in the source code ( I am
not! a C++ guy--)?

Hello,
I don't see how a .cue file could be created when splitting with error mode, since error mode split does not split by time.
It detects synchronisation errors and cuts the file according to frames offsets.
However .cue file creation option will be created for most of the other split types.

CUE file creation has been added as '-E' to version 2.2.8 for most of the split types, except error mode and wrap mode.
The '-P' option has also been added to 'pretend to split', without creating any files and directories.
I am closing the ticket.
Please report here issues with the options.
