Yes, sometimes I get this message and it doesn't save

Seems similar to this issue #1370 , witch kind of remote service you use? (OneDrive, Google Drive...)

I save the file locally, then a synchronization service (mega) uploads it to the cloud

I think the problem is this: when I open the file it creates a copy in the Android database, and then I make a change on the desktop (the original file is already different from the one copied by the change in Windows) and that's why it presents the conflict

this is an ordinary workflow: change & sync are always together in one device.
there should be no conflict unless mmex4android changes sth w/o sync.

another cause might be oneDrive itself.

seems there are some reports from oneDrive of changing the modified time incorrectly. this might be the root cause.

after a detailed review, I think I addressed the bug in updating remoteLastChangedDate.
https://github.com/moneymanagerex/android-money-manager-ex/releases/tag/2024.01.05.1010 should fix the issue
