Comparison between the Shortest Single Path (Djikstra's) routing and Any Path routing schemes in a wireless network, using Matlab simulation models. The simulation is performed for different network topologies and channel model parameters. And from simulation results it is inferred for IEEE802.11 networks the Any Path routing performs significantly better than Djikstra's routing.

Study of saturation throughput in an IEEE802.11 network using DCF by using NS-2 simulation models. The simulation result analyze the throughput region first for increasing number of nodes and second by fixing the number of nodes and increasing the data rate.

facebook-mashup icon facebook-mashup

Development of IMDB and Facebook mashup web application, which allow users to search their favorite movie/tv show/video game on IMDB.com and enable them to post it on their Facebook account using a web browser. The same functionality is ported to mobile devices by developing an Android mobile application. The Phase 1 of project is developed using PHP, Java servlet, Javascript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML and AJAX technologies. And is deployed on a Apache-Tomcat setup. Phase 2 is developed using Android

Simulation of a logistic system, where the communication between central warehouse and four outlets is established over TCP and UDP sockets. This project has two phases: Phase1 is inventory reporting where the communication between the warehouse and outlets takes place over the TCP sockets. Phase2 is stock replenishment for which the communications between the outlets and warehouse takes place over UDP sockets. This project was developed using C language over UNIX/Solaris platform

socket-programming1 icon socket-programming1

Simulation of various queue systems and comparison of their system parameters with theoretical results. This project has 3 phases: Phase1 simulates M/M/1 and M/M/N/K queues for different arrival and service rates, and different sample sizes. Phase2 simulates M/M/1 queues with feedback for different arrival and service rates, and feedback probability. Phase3 simulates M/G/1 FIFO queues for different sample size and seeds for generating random variables. This project was developed using C++ language over UNIX/Solaris platform.
