latest commit d6c65a8 fixes it, sorry
and by the way now you can install by using plain:
pip install pyorient

from pyorient.

Installing via pip still gives me a module with missing /Common and /Messages folders:

ls -w 1 /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pyorient
__init__.py
__init__.pyc
OrientDB.py
OrientDB.pyc

$ pip2 show pyorient
---
Name: pyorient
Version: 1.0.2
Location: /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages
Requires:

Then, when trying to import:

>>> import pyorient
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pyorient/__init__.py", line 3, in <module>
    from .OrientDB import OrientDB
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pyorient/OrientDB.py", line 2, in <module>
    from pyorient.Commons.OrientException import *
ImportError: No module named Commons.OrientException

from pyorient.
