I tried using the 'spawn' method for torch.multiprocessing like the error mesage suggested. It's in the pr that I linked to this issue. Let me know if it works or not.

Merged as spawn was the intended method. Will try to test on linux on my side to make sure we haven't missed anything else. Let us know if the change fixes anything for you.
Note that this extension is still very early in developement, expect some instability in the short term.
