Happy to remove it. I dislike some of its suggestions, and I think running it in CI is not a great idea; its fine to use sometimes as sometimes it is helpful.

That's not due to gometalinter exactly, is it? That's trying to run a Darwin binary on Linux. Perhaps the linter should only run on non-cross (~= GOOS/GOARCH unset)? How do other projects deal with this.
Actually, why is a linter trying to actually run anything, very odd.

It's not.. the make file uses @ on the following go test invocation, it is that which is failing it seems.

This repo is now merged into linuxkit and I didnt include gometalinter, so closing.
