In short, v7.0.0 disables Pillow due to a CVE that was not easily addressed by many users since it requires at least Python 3.8.
If your Python is supported, you can always install it manually:
sudo python3 -m pip install Pillow>=10.0.1We plan to re-enable this by default in v8.0.0. Note this is a major version increase due to the fact that most users will be required to install Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm to move to a supported Python version.
