And btw I searched the file TensileLibrary.dat on my system and I found it in a different directory:

Thanks for the report.
This error is most likely due to incompatibility between you GPU and AMD ROCm libraries. Unfortunately, ROCm "officially" supports only few graphics cards. The path /app/extensions/amd/rocm/lib/rocblas/library/TensileLibrary.dat is actually correct because it is the path visible from the Flatpak sandbox.
Did you try to enable Settings->Other->Override GPU version option? This forces ROCm to see your card as another GPU. This helps sometimes.

Thanks for your reply. I tried some other GPU versions, but none of them worked. Maybe my Vega 8 card isn't supported, but I have seen it different on other forums.
Anyway, I tried OpenCL, but then I get these two options in the STT tab for GPU acceleration:
If I select the first one, the screen and system freezes and I have to hardboot. If I select the second one, I get the following error:

This is because Clover implementation of OpenCL supports only very limited number of AMD graphics card, mostly quite old one. In general, OpenCL AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing should work fine but for some reason it doesn't on your system. I have no idea what could be wrong.
Anyway, can I ask you to try something else?
- Add extra env variable
HSA_XNACK=1to Flatpak sandbox by executing this command:
flatpak override --env=HSA_XNACK=1 net.mkiol.SpeechNote
or
flatpak override --user --env=HSA_XNACK=1 net.mkiol.SpeechNote
- Start Speech Note and set GPU to ROCm + disable GPU override
- Test STT
- enable GPU override (default value)
- Test STT
You can revert flatpak override with:
flatpak override --reset net.mkiol.SpeechNote

Thanks for your help first of all. As you suggested, I added the environment variable (Flatseal confirms that I set it correctly). When I enable GPU with ROCm and disabled GPU override, I get the same error, that rocBLAS error: Cannot read /app/extensions/amd/rocm/lib/rocblas/library/TensileLibrary.dat: No such file or directory.
When I enable GPU override with the default value (9.0.0), the system quickly freezes and I have to hard-boot. I added the log for this situation as a file. I even tried to use the tiny Whisper model, but the same error occurs.

Thank you for all tests. Unfortunately, I must admit that I have no other idea how to attack this problem.
For the next version I want to integrate ZLUDA libraries. It theory, this should let you run CUDA binaries on AMD. I didn't make any test so far, but potentially this might be another way to get GPU acceleration on AMD cards. Maybe with ZLUDA you will get better results.
