Actually thinking about it, you would not even need the custom hash file, the database file would do the job itself, and just have it when user selects custPSX from game filter, it refreshes the users local view list from the hub DB file.

there is already a proper softlist for this as of MESS 1.49. Any work done on this with be outdated within a few versions. Not really worth it.
