Just another generic backend. I am starting with the use case of a foursquare type "places visited" project; I will then move to make this much more generic. But the idea is similar to my "justAnotherReactApp" project. This project will create the majority of any project's backend functionality. Other than project specifics and design and database design I have notices that most APIs, middleware, and backend links and routes are structured the same. We already have libraries and frameworks why not take it a step further and basically allow people to copy and replace variable names. That should theoretically work right? Either way, I am not thinking too much on the usability of this for others-- this project will allow me and my team to reuse this code to quickly build and deploy a full backend with Node + Express + Mongo. Take a look at misterpink.com to understand the dev process. I might add tutorials on how to take this further. As things go, I am sure I will add more features to enhance the capabilities of this project.
