The analysis looks at how the movie franchises succeed in the box office records and the critical factors contributed to their successes. In addition, the profit used for box office record measures was readjusted with the historical inflation rates. The movie data were collected over multiple website including Kaggle, IMDB, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the-numbers.com. The data scraping and analysis were performed in R.
