You mean using psedo-depth by the appraoch presented in sparsetrack? Or doyou mean 3D object tracking by using 4 channel camera with depth information?

A pseudo-dept approach yes. so basically running some monocular depth est. which you could use to assign detections a depth value. if the environment is fixed it should be doable ie accurate enough.
About fixed environments this repo had some interesting results based on that assumption from my very limited understanding https://github.com/corfyi/UCMCTrack/tree/master might be informative.
