Timed out waiting for authentication provider to register about vscode-azure-account HOT 12 OPEN

i can confirm i have the exact same issue. Azure tools was working fine.. but after switching to a new azure account i'm unable to get it working again. Constantly getting Timed out waiting for authentication provider to register.

As users recommended in the forum i tried Sign in with authention code, and regular Azure sign in.. but even though the login screen in browsers says everything is ok, cursor is giving me the timed out messages.

Are you all experiencing this issue using the Cursor editor like the original issue states? Or using VS Code?

I'm having a similar issue connecting to a remote tunnel, same error message (using Cursor, works fine in VS Code). I suspect that it is related to how Cursor handles this somehow.

I have implemented all the advice written here, but the same error continues. I might give up on the cursor.
