This was fixed in DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped#69632; you need the latest node .d.ts package
from typescript.
Update on the Buffer type incompatibility issue:
A solution has been identified: update @types/node to the latest version.
npm install --save-dev @types/node@latest
I've tested this solution, and it resolves the TypeScript error described in this issue.
Note: While effective, this is a change to type definitions, not TypeScript itself. It may not be suitable for all projects, especially those requiring specific @types/node versions.
If you try this solution, please report any side effects or scenarios where the problem persists.
