To add to this, exposing an API to easily retrieve the help text would also be quite useful. Thanks!

Is there an estimated time that this might be completed (if at all)? It would be super useful to have a way to get the help text through python (rather than just validation for completeness) :) An estimate will help me determine how much work around I will need to do in the meantime. Thanks!

We are planning to do work on help over this summer, so this ask could fit pretty easily within the scope of that work.
