This Graph route does not exist in v1.0 Graph schema hence the issue - let me see if I can give you a Sample that works against the beta schema (which the Intune Portal seems to be using for this).

I just attempted to use that beta schema and I still get the same error.

Have you tried to do the same from Graph Explorer using same method ?
