Design guidelines missing about fluentui-emoji HOT 1 OPEN

Just wanted to add my comment on this:

It would be really nice to have a framework to be able to expand / edit the emoji ecosystem.

• From the design perspective, guidelines such as radius, gradients, etc. would be very important and would make the overall library more consistent, as I noticed inconsistencies between various emojis.

• From the technical perspective, we can script those parameters and change them dynamically. For example different skin tones could be generated with a simple script, as well as other parameters could be adjusted. The metadata file for each emoji can be used to hold information relevant to the scripting, so that different groups of emojis are affected by different parameters.

As a proof of concept, I created a node.js script that makes all face emojis completely rounded, as well as changing those purple tones to a more orange-ish accent. (the script works with a simple find-replace mechanism)
