here is the use case:
Yeah, we're thinking the same thing.
Here are the goals:
- support Bash 4.3 specifications for features that make sense.
- be faster than minimatch
I don't want to make minimatch compatibility a goal, I think that lib (and node-glob) is bloated and slows everything that uses it down.

Ok, I pushed up a fairly complete implementation. Sorry I wasn't able to use your code (yet), I had some ideas about what i wanted to do and I just wanted to get it to the point where it's usable. Any improvements are of course welcome.

Cool, my implementation with 1-2 additional changes (arrayify, etc) pass all mm.match tests :)

Nice, let me know if you find any issues, I'm going to start replacing minimatch with this in all my projects after I do a bit more testing.
