As a way around this, for http://staticsitegenerators.net/ we use a different architecture.

Whenever a change is made to the source YAML file here: https://github.com/jaspervdj/static-site-generator-comparison/blob/master/list.yaml

We have github send a post web hook to the website, which then pulls in the latest yaml file, and spurts it out to the templates.

Something like that, where an updated data file doesn't require a redeploy of the website, makes a lot of sense.

entries are curated though, the build process is fine, there's a script that does it all and pushing to gh-pages is easy enough. I'm hoping to have some time around Christmas to get rid of the backlog.

@rvagg are you willing to add collaborators to this project, so the curation workload can be split between several people to eliminate bottlenecks?
