Thanks for letting me know about the problem with quoted strings. That was a bug as the intention was to allow them to span lines. Should work now:

> World!"
> echo s
Hello,
World!
The build problem is caused by changes I'm in the middle of making for job control. I should have done these on a branch but didn't. I'm hoping to have this sorted out in the next month or so.
