I can't think of any drawbacks in this case (is replace widely supported?)

The side effect of this change would be that URIs that are /report/something-right/thanks/ would not match navigation that just has /report/something-right/; looking at the code, I would have to find the "closest match" vs. just do indexOf as pages lower in the path would match first (like /report/, in this case).

Might not be worth it.
