"ENOTEMPTY, directory not empty" error about metalsmith HOT 4 CLOSED

I'm seeing this on a mac too.

I had a similar error:

  errno: 53,
  code: 'ENOTEMPTY',
  path: '/home/path/project/www/site1' }

And error was reproduced when I used two metalsmith instances at the same time, something like this:

  //Process part of data
  Metalsmith(__dirname)
    .source('my/path')
    .destination('www')
  ...
  //Process another part of data
  Metalsmith(__dirname)
    .source('my/path2')
    .destination('www')

The solution was to wait until the first step is finished and only then run the second one.
As I understand both instances tried to cleanup the same destination directory and this caused an error.

Please note that, you can see the same error if you have a Finder window open in Metalsmith target directory while running Metalsmith.

Metalsmtih tries to remove directories and files but OSX creates .DS_Store file as soon as Metalsmith deletes it causing directory beign non-empty.
