I tried to replicate the attack, and I saw that the problem isn't associated with the bot code, I think it is some problem or functionality of discord.app
Here follows my test:
On my notebook I executed the following code
>>> import requests
>>> url = 'http://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man2/{}.2.html'.format('&@http://myvps.com')
>>> r = requests.get(url)
And on my server log I didn't receive any request, but when I executed the command on the bot, I receive a request from discord.app

from fravia-bot.
