Did you follow on suggested issue https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/4968? This seems to occur because of your development, I used to follow those steps (instead of removing node_modules, etc.):

  • stop app (maybe also IDE and simulator/emulator)
  • stop npm packager, restart packager
  • start app again
  • try again

Tried no luck. Closed Emulator and VS code. Close android studio. npm install again.

source: require('yourApp/image.png'), dimensions: { width: 150, height: 150 }.

You don't have that image. Remove it from the array of images. It was simply a reference to how to use local images.

I don't want to be rude or anything but did you try reading the error before you posted this? It clearly says that you are missing that image that @peterchibunna mentioned
