Hey there, I'm obviously biased, but with some recent changes (like thumbnail generation) it should be a lot more standalone now. I've removed that line to reflect this as well. 😊

Putting this on hold currently the repository states:
at this point [photofield is] meant to be used to complement other photo gallery software.

@SmilyOrg Is there a live demo that i can use to test photofield?
I rely heavily on live demos since it is VERY time consuming to constantly setup and keep instances up to date for this growing list of libraries.
