I have the same issue on macOS 13.2.1 and BitDefender

As a dirty workaround you can take the https://github.com/mdevils/html-entities/blob/master/src/named-references.ts file, convert it to JS and place it in the NPM folder. Bitdefender seems to be fine with this file version...

Copy content from https://pastebin.pl/view/e86b21a7
into a new js file named: named-references.js in YOUR_APP/node_modules/html-entities/lib/

I am having the same issue today, but [email protected] has been out for almost a year now. Not sure what's broken.

Hello guys, thanks for reporting this problem.

As you can see, that file has no logic, it's just a list of HTML named references.

The file is properly published: https://www.npmjs.com/package/html-entities?activeTab=explore

If there is a problem with Bitdefender, you should write to Bitdefender about it.

Hope this helps.

@danfleser - the pastebin no longer exists. Could you replace it somehow as I am having the same issue? Thanks!

@propkitty you can always access npm package contents right from npm itself: https://www.npmjs.com/package/html-entities?activeTab=code

I guess this issue is not relevant anymore, closing it.
